ICOM, well-known for its handheld radios, recently introduced the IC-A200 panel-mounted airband transceiver.
The IC-A200 has 760 channels, including the new 118.0 and 136.975 MHz com frequencies, and features flip-flop selection between active and standby frequencies.
Its push-to-talk and nine-frequency memory can be accessed remotely from the control panel.
A built-in amplifier drives an external speaker when the audio panel is not in use. Channels and frequencies are displayed via a backlit LCD window.
