The First LoneStar Kit Helicopter

The original production LoneStar Kit Helicopter Rotax 582 – with traditional style helicopter swashplate. The helicopter comes fitted with a water cooled Rotax 582 two-stroke-two cylinder aircraft engine mounted vertically. The short tail boom and PolyChain cog belt tail rotor drive remained the same on all following models. The original prototype tricycle landing gear was updated to the more traditional skid type. The primary reduction drive consisted of multi V-belts followed by two cog-belt drives to the main rotor shaft.
