The Second LoneStar Kit Helicopter

The second production LoneStar Kit Helicopter Rotax 582 – with a move away from the single member airframe to a twin aluminum bolt-together airframe. Along with this came a completely new swashplate design that was hidden within the main rotorshaft. As with the Cicare CH7 Angel helicopters, this system improved control and stability due to lower weight rotating mass in the control system. Along with this change came a new rotorhead design and a secondary duplex chain drive at the base of the very long main rotor shaft.
